Flying over balloons

Flying over hot balloons is a great way to experience the thrill of flying in a bird’s-eye view of the area below, quietly running through the skies flying over the jungle. You can see elephants roaming freely, various birds, wild animals, buffaloes standing in the rice fields, and monkeys swaying from the trees. See the lush vineyards at your feet and the reflections rising above the surface of the water, and feel a sense of unity with the sky in Sri Lanka.

The Culture Triangle’s “Magic in the Air” is a great way to see everything the beautiful countryside offers, rather than an early sunrise hot air balloon flight. If you’re lucky enough to visit the beautiful islands of Sri Lanka, you’ll need to take advantage of the opportunity to see spectacular aerial views starting from Kandalama in Dambulla, a cultural triangle. For the rest of the time, you can visit Sigiriya and Habarana and schedule a safari in Minneriya National Park or Kaudara National Park. (Tour is not included)

During the one-hour flight, you’ll have 360-degree visibility no matter where you stand in the basket. The pilot will be an empty guide, explaining what you can see, how far you will go, and how high you will be. Upon landing, each passenger will receive a commemorative flight certificate, greeted by a festive toast (a tradition dating back to the 19th century). Once the balloons are packed and all passengers are ready to take off, pilots and crew can return to the check-in point to buy souvenirs to commemorate their aviation adventure. A great experience to check your bucket list.

Enjoy your fun flights with sunrise and scenic flights departing when the weather is perfect and safe. Due to the fog covering the mountains and poor visibility, there are days when it is possible to fly but the scenery is not good. At this point, our commercial pilots will not take off in the air because poor visibility flights are unsafe and passengers will not be able to get what they are selling.
